Residency Description:

The residency program in Low Vision Rehabilitation seeks to attract highly qualified optometric graduates, and to provide them with advanced knowledge and skills in all aspects of low vision rehabilitation. The residency involves the management of patients with visual impairment including acquired neurological disorders, traumatic brain injury, ocular prosthetics, specialty contact lenses, and other adaptive technology. Residents who complete the program are expected to provide an advanced level of clinical care in low vision rehabilitation.
