Residency Description:

The Mission of the Northern Navajo Medical Center residency program is to provide qualified post-doctoral optometric practitioners with a comprehensive experience in hospital based primary care optometry. Working within a multidisciplinary team of professionals, the residents in this program will provide optimal patient and primary eye care to Native Americans of all ages. Fostering an appreciation for the culture of the Navajo people will help insure that the resident appreciates and becomes a caring and compassionate provider for all patients with diverse cultures.
