Residency Description:
Eye Centers of Florida (ECOF) welcomes you to the Residency Program in Ocular Disease. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the best ophthalmic surgeons and optometric physicians in the southeastern United States. This interaction will provide you with a strong background for successful practice opportunities in your future endeavors.
You will have the opportunity to work with our surgeons from cornea, plastics, retina, neurology and pediatrics utilizing our modern diagnostic equipment and well-equipped operatories. For those interested in research we conduct funded clinical research in a variety of areas including accommodative lens implants, foldable lens implants, contact lens implants etc. At this time there are eight studies underway with another four studies ready to start.
