Residency Description:

The Center for the Partially Sighted's Optometric Residency Program will provide the doctor with comprehensive education and clinical training to diagnose and manage the vision rehabilitation of partially sighted patients presenting with ocular conditions that include age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, retinitis pigmentosa, albinism, and cortical vision impairment. The program also provides the resident with opportunities to work with other professionals who provide services for the partially sighted, including clinical psychologists, orientation and mobility specialists, physical and occupational therapists, independent living skills teachers and ophthalmologists.
