Residency Description:

The Department of Ophthalmology has directed the integrated residency program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center since 1966. Ophthalmology residency training is conducted primarily at four affiliated institutions including the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Regional Medical Center at Memphis (The Med), Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center, and Methodist University Hospital. Some rotations also include clinical responsibilities at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the University of Tennessee Medical Group clinics.
