Residency Description:

As a major ophthalmic teaching center for Long Island, Nassau University Medical Center's Ophthalmology Department is the choice of patients and health care providers alike.

The spectrum of ophthalmic subspecialties is well represented by our attending faculty. Although highly regarded for being knowledgeable and skilled clinicians, our growing team of attendings is best known for their approachability and commitment to teaching. Their areas of expertise include cataract and anterior segment surgery, glaucoma surgery, vitreo-retinal surgery, oculoplastic surgery, pediatric ophthalmic surgery, and refractive surgery.
