Fellowship Description:

The two-year Vitreo-Retinal Fellowship provides broad exposure to the vitreoretinal specialty. During the fellowship, the trainee will be exposed to and learn tumor diagnosis and management, evaluation and management of ocular inflammatory and vascular chorioretinal diseases, and management of age related macular degeneration among other conditions. The trainee will acquire skills in scleral buckling and vitreous surgery, photocoagulation, cryotherapy, and interpretation of fluorescein angiograms, ocular coherence tomography (OCT), ultrasonography and retinal electrodiagnostic studies.
