Fellowship Description:

We offer a one year fellowship. This is a hands on experience under the guidance of Lewis R. Groden, MD, Hormuz Wadia, MD and Craig Berger, MD. Medical and surgical cornea and external disease are covered in both the clinic and operating room settings. In addition to this traditional cornea and external disease practice, exposure to refractive surgery is obtained through Dr. Groden's private LASIK practice. The cornea fellow is expected to take an active role in resident teaching. The Department's involvement in active clinical research ensures that fellows stay abreast of new therapeutic developments. The cornea fellow is expected to perform clinical studies during the fellowship year.
