UIC Department of Ophthalmology Glaucoma Fellowship

Fellowship Description: The Department offers a one-year fellowship in Glaucoma. The emphasis is on clinical care but both clinical and basic research opportunities are available. Must have completed a residence in ophthalmology and must be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Illinois . The fellow will see patients in the clinic together with the faculty and operate with them. The fellow will have his/her own clinics 3 half days a week and will attend the residents in the General Eye Clinic one half day a week. The fellow will see patients both at the Eye and Ear Infirmary and at the Westside VA Hospital. The fellow is expected to actively participate in the weekly Glaucoma Service Conference/Journal Club and Departmental Grand Rounds. |
