Fellowship Description:

The Department of Ophthalmology at UCSF and the Hearst Foundation, through the generosity of George Hearst Sr. and Rosalie Hearst is pleased to offer one annually funded international fellowship to a qualified candidate. The objective of the Hearst Fellowship is to provide valuable advanced training in a critical field in Ophthalmology for promising ophthalmologists from outside the United States. In addition to the regular fellowship training available at a large urban medical center, the Fellow can expect to benefit from attendance at the many seminars, lectures, and clinics.
