Fellowship Description:

The Retina service has the largest complement of fellows in the department. This year, there are 6 retina fellows, 3 primarily engaged in clinical training, and 3 primarily engaged in research. The Retina service offers several distinct Vitreo-Retinal fellowships, each of which is two years in duration. There are two fellowships that are primarily clinical/surgical: one for American board eligible ophthalmologists, and one for international retinal specialists. The American clinical/surgical vitreo-retinal fellowship accepts one trainee per year for a two year training period, resulting in two American fellows at any given time.
