Fellowship Description:

The clinical cornea fellowship is a one-year program for ophthalmologists selected through the SF Match program. Fellows rotate through the LSU Eye Center clinics and ambulatory surgery center and the Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans hospitals, Charity and University campuses. Fellows work under the supervision of the subspecialty-trained attending physicians on the faculty. Fellows have clinical and surgical duties as directed by the faculty. The fellowship introduces the trainees to all aspects of the anterior segment of the eye, helping to develop their skills in examination, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures.
