Fellowship Description:

The Kresge Eye Institute offers a fellowship in ocular and adnexal trauma. This is a one-year position with a stipend. Our fellowship emphasizes the evaluation and management of acute eye trauma and adnexal trauma as well as reconstructive and orbital surgery. The fellowship is office and hospital based. It emphasizes orbital fractures and reconstruction, oculoplastic reconstructive surgery as well as trauma of the globe, eye lids, orbit, and lacrimal system. The fellowship has opportunities for clinical research in addition to the rigorous clinical and surgical aspects of the fellowship. Approximately 500 cases a year are performed with the fellow. The fellow also participates in resident and medical student teaching.
