Fellowship Description:

The Glaucoma/Macular Fellowship program sponsored by Ronald Frenkel, M.D. F.A.C.S., F.I.C.S of the Eye Research Foundation/East Florida Eye Institute offers comprehensive training in the surgical and medical management of Glaucoma and Macular Disease. A state of the art approach to glaucoma is emphasized that includes the role of corneal pachymetry, scanning laser ocular blood flow, OCT, HRT, and 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. FA, ICG, Fundus Auto-fluorescence, and OCT e are utilized for the diagnosis of macular disorders.
